If you book an appointment with us through the Platform, attend a trade show or event, or otherwise contact us, you may also voluntarily provide similar information. If you submit any Personal Information about other people to us or our service providers, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to do so and to allow us to use their Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy (for example, by obtaining their consent).

From third parties. We obtain information through partners, vendors, and other third parties. The parties from which we obtain information are typically corporate entities (although some may also be educational or public institutions) and may be located in any of the locations where we do business. These companies generally belong to the following categories: advertising and marketing companies, data set and information providers, public database providers, social media platforms, partners, product or service vendors, event or trade show hosts or vendors, research partners, or companies that use X-ID Services. We take steps to confirm that the information we receive from these third parties was collected with your consent or that these parties have the legal right to disclose your Personal Information to us. We may also obtain information through a partner, or co-create data sets with a partner, as part of our business operations. This type of data is used for work such as improving the Platform and other X-ID Services, enhancing existing products, and developing new capabilities and functionalities. In some cases, we combine Personal Information about individuals that we receive from multiple sources, including those collected directly from you or through the use of the Platform.

Occasionally, we conduct surveys or focused studies that may require you to voluntarily share Personal Information to participate. These activities typically have additional notices that provide more information about the use of your Personal Information and for which you may be asked to consent.

For Advertising and Marketing. For Statistical Purposes and to Improve the Platform. We may compile Platform statistics into traffic reports, which help X-ID understand, anticipate, and respond to users’ needs. If we know, for example, that there is increased interest in certain aspects of the X-ID Platform, we are more likely to highlight that information on the Platform’s home page. This Information helps us create an overall better experience for Platform users.
